Spotlight works via a lottery system that rotates weekly. As long as your business page is 100% finished, you are eligible to win the spotlight lottery. Once you win, your business ad banner is front and center to every single user of Platforms (in your city/county) for one week. While the selection for who gets the spotlight is completely random, the business that everyone sees is consistent. Businesses can NEVER pay to be spotlit. Ever.

Platforms has a built-in analytics dashboard so you can see exactly how your business is performing. You can even see your current spotlight eligibility, change business info, and launch customer incentives on the fly.

What is Platforms?
Platforms is a Local Business Listing Site created by Brody Harris, the founder of Bravicä Creative Works. Platforms is all about randomizing business search results to the consumer. Whether you make seven figures a year in profit, or haven’t made a single dollar yet, you have an equal chance of being seen as everybody else.
Where will Platforms be available?
Platforms is currently only set to release in Solano County, CA. As we continue to refine our service, we’ll release Platforms to more counties across CA and hopefully go nationwide down the line.
Are there any late fees or extra costs of any kind?
Platforms is strictly a subscription based service at only $12 a month! If you ever stop paying, we don’t send you a late fee the size of a medical bill, we simply take your business out of the public eye until you can pay again. You will NEVER owe us any money. Ever.
How do I join?
For Customers:
You can download the Platforms App on the Apple App Store / Google Play Store. It’s completely free for customer use, and you’ll be supporting local small businesses!
For Businesses:
Type platforms.social in your browser on your phone or computer, and sign up. It's super easy, and only costs $12 a month to list your business. Compare that to the hundreds of dollars you pay the other guy just to be seen for 24 hours.
How come businesses aren’t sorted by highest reviews?
While we did consider this option, our goal is to make sure there is absolutely no way to game the system whatsoever. Unfortunately, there is just no way to prove that all reviews are genuine while keeping the platform free and simple to use for customers.
